I was brought into the project a bit last minute to add some flavour to an already very hip campaign. The video was already cut, a generic club track without any lyrics or melodic content.
The challenge for me was to make this into a song that included the brand into the campaign. I recorded a few vocal samples of me singing “You/we got to feel it” & “Feel it” and pitched it up, Mangled it in time to end up with something that sounds like “Fila”
The phonetic connection with Feel or feel it was the crux of the read campaign, so it had to translate into the sound as well.
It worked for the agency and the client loved it 🙂
